5 Steps to Stop Procrastination
Step 1 – Breathe deep and often. Scientific studies now prove breathing reduces grey matter and increases self-regulation.
Step 2 – Acknowledge and Accept You’re Not Perfect. Reevaluate Your Standards and STOP Moving The Goalpost.
Step 3 – Identify a Goal/Dream You Want to Accomplish. Write it Down on a Piece of Paper. Read it Aloud.
Step 4 – Plan It! Break it Down into Bite-Size Chunks. Ask Yourself, What Are Five Milestones I need to Achieve to Realize The Goal?
Step 5 – Commit to and Hold Yourself Accountable. Step into Your Potential. Expect to Justify Your Decisions. Own Your Failures. Celebrate the Successes.
Stop delaying action and get into the habit of taking action immediately! Take a deep breathe and keep deep breathing if you find yourself struggling to initiate action. Go easy on yourself and just focus on your breathing until you’re ready to take the first step. But don’t put it off for another day, get it done today! Stop Procrastination today, once and for all!
