If I Had My Child To Raise Over Again
If I had my child to raise all over again,
I’d build self-esteem first,
and the house later.
I’d finger-paint more,
and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting
and more connecting.
The power to influence the course of events
What do you think it would be like to be able to influence the course of events – The power to change something and to create a desired outcome? What could you do with this power if you knew you had it? What if you possess this power already but haven’t been shown how to use it? Would you want to know how to use it to improve the quality of your life?
Imagine for a moment what your life would be like if you had the power to alter the path you’re on this very moment. Imagine possessing a force so powerful that it pushes through any barrier, which might prevent you from choosing another path. The energy to leap and to jump over any hurdle in your way, and the courage you long to take the step that you know that you must.
Take a moment and imagine living in a fantasy world. Here you can wish for anything. Create a vision and fulfill it with delight – look around you for inspiration. It is everywhere and could be anything you care for it to be – It can be a world far from reality. It is a world fulfilled with whatever life the imagination can dream. When you’re ready and have a vision close your eyes and hold on to it real tight.
What does it look like; how does it feel? What kind of world did you imagine could come real? Did you get excited at the idea? Did you believe for a moment that it could be real? Hold on to that feeling and make it be real.
You already have the power to influence the course of events. All that you must do is take a conscious decision and say that you will. Everything you will need to know will be known when you need to know it so try not to think ahead. Now all that is left is for you to take the step that you know that you must.

What Are You Waiting For?
There is only so much you can learn from what you already know
From the places you’ve been to the things you’ve done
Stop waiting or there will be no more
What are you waiting for?
Life is an unknown from the time you are born to the time you go on your own
Life is one big mystery of many unknowns
What are you waiting for?
There was a time when all you could think was the unknown
The unknown exited you, waiting to live the unknown
Trying new things, traveling to new places, learning and growing
But today you sit back waiting for the known
Time is passing with so little that is really known
One day you embraced it and in the next you feared it
It’s the one thing that will make you grow

Footprints To Our Hearts
I’m in one of those moods. Quiet, somber, I feel really solemn tonight. So much has happened in such a short period of time. One day I’m helping people learn about who they are, and in the next, I’m running a successful business managing writers, designer, developers, sales people, and soon someone to take the company to where I dreamed it can be. But, not only do I get to help people learn about whom they are, and run a successful business, I get to use my skills, talent and passion to live my childhood dream. I’m not dreaming, all of this and more are happening right before my eyes. Not 1 – not 2 – but 3 amazing turn of events, which are paving the road to my future.
So, with so much positive things happening in my life, why am I in one of those moods, why do I feel so solemn? I try not to analyze my emotions, I simply allow myself to feel and to go through the process without interpretation or thought. Unfortunately, tonight I simply cannot. Tonight I feel that the only way I will release my emotions is to express myself through my words.
I have no reason not to trust anybody, I trust everybody and maybe sometimes I shouldn’t. I even trusted when the writing was on the wall, echoed by those closest to me to be careful, that it is not all that it is made to be. Today, I finally learned that it wasn’t even close to what I chose to believe it could be – shame on me.
Life will go on – I believe and I often share: At the end of the day even the people that love you the most will end up hurting you. And because I believe this little known fact, I will be able to pick myself up and continue on my journey of 1, 2, and 3.
I will trust again and I will still trust unconditionally.
Footprints On Our Hearts
Some people come into our lives
and leave footprints on our hearts
and we are never ever the same.Some people come into our lives
and quickly go… Some stay for awhile
and embrace our silent dreams.They help us become aware
of the delicate winds of hope…
and we discover within every human spirit
there are wings yearning to fly.They help our hearts to see that
the only stairway to the stars
is woven with dreams…
and we find ourselves
unafraid to reach high.They celebrate the true essence
of who we are…
and have faith in all
that we may become.Some people awaken us
to new and deeper realizations…
for we gain insight
from the passing whisper of their wisdomThroughout our lives we are sent
precious souls…
meant to share our journey
however brief or lasting their stay
they remind us why we are here.To learn… to teach… to nurture… to love
Some people come into our lives
to cast a steady light
upon our path and guide our every step
their shining belief in us
helps us to believe in ourselves.Some people come into our
lives to teach us about love…
The love that rests within ourselves.Let us reach out to others
and feel the bliss of giving
for love is far richer in action
that it ever is in words.Some people come into our lives
and they move our souls to sing
and make our spirits dance.They help us to see that everything on earth
is part of the incredibility of life…
and that it is always there
for us to take of its joy.Some people come into our lives
and leave footprints on our hearts
and we are never ever the same.

What is it that I love doing
I do it often but I don’t know I’m doing it

My Dilemma
I have a thought or two that I might want to share with you
It could be about nothing or it could be about everything
But I do know I have an urge to share it with you

Today my eyes opened wide for the first time in a long time
Today I realized I am in control of my life
Today I realized that I have choices in life
Today I realized I could choose to stay in bed or choose to make it my day
Today I realized I have a choice to make today a great day
Today I realized all it takes is for me to say – Yes I can
Today I realized I do not need others to choose for me
Today I realized all my dreams could come true
Today I realized it has been my attitude that has held me back
Today I realized it is my life and I can do and be whatever I choose
Today I realized the only thing standing between me and my dream is ME.
